Sue Scheff™ and P.U.R.E.™
Parent Advocate and mom Sue Scheff™ founded the Parents Universal Resource Experts (P.U.R.E™) in 2001 when, after attempting to get much needed help for her troubled teen, she was mislead by a WWASP treatment program that ended up abusing her teen.
Scheff™ realized that like her, thousands of parents around the country had nowhere to turn when seeking treatment options for their adolescents, and as a result the parents and their teens were at the mercy of whatever slick sales pitch many of these schools might throw at them. Today P.U.R.E.™ provides a wide variety of referrals for parents all around the country who are seeking treatment programs for their troubled teens.
Scheff™’s book, “Wit’s End™,” chronicles her journey to save her troubled teen, and the development of P.U.R.E.™, and will be available in bookstores soon.
